The fern and the bamboo.....
One day I decided to quit.... I quit my job, my relationship, my spirituality... I wanted to quit my life. I went to the woods to have one last talk with G-d.
“G-d”, I said. “Can you give me a good reason not to quit?”
His answer surprised me...
“Look around”, He said. “Do you see the fern and the bamboo?”
“Yes”, I replied.
“When I planted the fern and the bamboo seeds, I took very good care of them. I gave them light. I gave them water. Yet nothing came from the bamboo seed. But I did not quit on the bamboo.
In the second year the fern grew more vibrant and plentiful. And again, nothing came from the bamboo seed. But I did not quit on the bamboo.”
He said. “In the third year, there was still nothing from the bamboo seed. But I would not quit.
In the fourth year, again, there was nothing from the bamboo seed. But I would not quit.
He said. “Then in the fifth year a tiny sprout emerged from the earth.
Compare to the fern it was seemingly small and insignificant.
But just 6 months later the bamboo rose over 100 feet tall. It had spent the five years growing roots. Those roots made it strong and gave it what it needed to survive. I would not give any of my creations a challenge it couldn’t handle.”
He said to me. “Did you know, my child, that all this time you have been struggling, you have actually been growing roots. I would not quit on the bamboo. I will never quit on you. Don’t compare yourself to others.”
He said. “The bamboo had a different purpose then the fern, yet, they both make the forest beautiful.”
“Your time will come,” God said to me. “You will rise high!”
“How high should I rise?” I asked
“How high will the bamboo rise?” He asked in return.
“As high as it can?” I questioned.
“Yes.” He said, “Give me your glory by rising as high as you can.”
I left the forest and brought back this story. I hope these words can help you see G-d will never give up on you.......
Never regret a day in your life.
Good day give you Happiness.
Bad days give you Experiences.
Both are essential to life.
Keep going...
Happiness keeps you Sweet,
Trails keep you Strong,
Sorrow keeps you Human,
Failure keeps you Humble,
Success keeps You Glowing,
But only G-d keeps You Going!
Have a great day! The sun is shining!!

G-d id so big He can cover the whole world with his Love and so small He can curl up inside your heart.

Here is a poem that Dr Cohen sent to Josh to inspire him:

To live means to be born, cry and scream
To suck from one’s mother’s breast and dream
To taste, smell, listen and touch
To feel, play, wish and know much.

To live means to give hands and communicate by eye
Sometimes to fall and sometimes to fly
To be curious, learn and listen to a sound
To accept the world with all that's around.

To live means new friends today and tomorrow
To be happy  and to shed anger and sorrow
To love and be loved everywhere
To assert and of myself to be aware.

To live means to get excited and breathe air
To struggle, make efforts but never despair
To be optimistic, get and give
To sympathize, love and live.

To live means to preserve family
To learn from yesterday, daily
To see the child growing
To appreciate  seasons renewing.

To live means to stick to row
To keep cleanliness, order and law
To seek our roots and the Almighty to know
To pray, be blessed and grow.

To live means to know your limits and devotion
To strengthen physical, mental and emotion
To be original, create and discover
To be free, no mask, no cover.

To live means to believe in autonomy
To choose life despite  difficulties in anatomy
To enjoy holidays, festivals and parties
To laugh, joke and fulfill fantasies.

To live means in nature wander
To hear and see above and under
To relax and have pleasure
To us this gift is a treasure.

To live means to leave your life fingerprints behind
To contribute, motivate and use your mind
To follow technological progress
To give a hand for society's process.

To live means to search life's meaning
As long as the soul and brain are feeling
To get ready for new creation
To look behind with satisfaction.
To live means to thank for all till now
To realize dreams and to know how
To accept reality without shame
To keep peace and a good name.

To live means to give you a handful of thanks
To be excited, hearing you clapping hands

 Please listen my Lord
Revive the nerves of my spinal cord
I want to live so much
Oh, my Lord.
